Overview

BlackRock approached with a unique challenge – to create a proof of concept to sync teams and manage the towering paperwork of large institutional clients during the handoff from sales to customer onboarding. This was part of a suite of concepts to integrate BlackRock teams through internal tools, this portion of the project focused on the customer facing platform.

Approach

I began with understanding the entire sales process interviewing the 5 BlackRock teams handling large institutional customer acquisitions. For the proof of concept, I collaborated with a SR. UX Lead to design a customer facing platform showing customers to upload and track their documentation. The platform also gives BlackRock teams full visibility of a customer’s paper trail transitioning from the sales handoff to customer onboarding within a closed system.
